Periodic reversing of the cartridge not only ensures balanced filtration and eliminates the potential for channeling, but also back-flushes the cartridge as it is filtering.
 
With the 3-way push-pull diverter system, you can conveniently change flow of water. Use either shower head or hand held for the ultimate shower experience.
 
Water travels down through the filter, passing through both ERA-6500 and ERA-9500 media for de-chlorination and enhances pH balance. Next, the water travels through the GAC (coconut shell granular activated carbon) stage to reduce contaminants and finally exits through the shower head. 
 
Recommended flow rate 2 gallons per minute (7.6 liters per minute) with the maximum recommended peak flow of 2.5 GPM.
